TRAVIS WILLIAMS

Travis Williams is the Executive Director of the Outdoor Discovery Center of Wildlife Unlimited. The Outdoor Discovery Center is a non-profit 120 acre outdoor education center and wildlife preserve. It was founded by Wildlife Unlimited and the Ottawa Area Intermediate School District in 2000.
Travis is a graduate of Hope College where he received a B.S. in Biology. He has two Masters Degrees: one in Education and the other in Strategic Management.
Travis has worked in the field of environmental education and resource management for 13 years. He has worked for the Outdoor Discovery Center for 9 years. Travis was the first employee of the Center and was intimately involved with developing the nonprofit education facility.
Travis serves on several nonprofit boards including the National Association for Interpretation, West Michigan Environmental Action Council and the West Michigan Cultural Trails.
Travis is married with two children and resides in Hamilton, Michigan. His hobbies include fishing and hiking. He is actively involved with the Children and Nature Network working on the No Child Left Inside movement with Dr. Cheryl Charles.
Currently Travis is the NAI Nature Center Directors and Administrators Section Director as well as the NAI Board of Directors.
