Contribute to the NAI Heritage Library
The NAI Heritage Library is the repository for all NAI archives, including publications from its parent organizations, Western Interpreters Association and Association of Interpretive Naturalists. It also includes publications from related organizations and a collection of rare, first edition, and autographed books from authors such as Freeman Tilden, Enos Mills, and other pioneers of the interpretation profession. As funding becomes available, NAI plans to digitize the entire library for easier global access, but for now, any visitor to the headquarters office can use the resources found here.
If you have materials you think might be suitable for donation to the library, please e-mail Deb Tewell about how to do that. |
If you would like to contribute to funding the Heritage Library, your restricted donation of $2500 or more will be recognized by inclusion of you or your designee on the Heritage Library Patron exhibit to be displayed in the Heritage Library and training room at the headquarters office. Currently, the exhibit recognizes three leaders in the interpretive field: Martha Hazen, Doug Knudsen, Howdy Weaver.
Your name or the name of one of your mentors or colleagues could appear on one of the book spines in this exhibit that will be completed and displayed once all the book spines have been dedicated.
