| NAI REGISTERED COACHES |
NAI Registered Coaches are eligible to act as individual coaches for people who choose the Advanced Certificate option in Eppley Institute's on-line interpretation curriculum (www.eppley.org).
An Advanced Certificate may substitute for some requirements in the NAI Certification program. For a complete list of approved substitutions, please see the Certification Handbook and Study Guide. The Eppley on-line courses are NOT the same as the NAI Professional Certification Program or Certified Interpretive Guide or Host training, but are recommended as additional opportunities for professional development.
If you are interested in securing the services of an NAI Registered Coach, you must contact the coach of your choice to determine availability and make a financial arrangement and agreement with that individual (coaching fee is usually $100, but may be subject to change under certain conditions). You must also register and pay for the Eppley Institute on-line course at www.eppley.org.
If you are interested in becoming an NAI Registered Coach, you must fulfill the requirements to become a Certified Interpretive Guide instructor and additional coursework required by Eppley Institute and the National Park Service. Please see the descriptions for upcoming Coaches classes for details on the Certification Calendar. |
