Accommodations
The host hotel is the Marriott
Vancouver Pinnacle Downtown. If you are reserving a room online, please make sure to use the special code for the IWH. The code is: NAINAIA and it must be entered into the "group code" field on the online marriott site.
Attendees can also call 1-800-207-4150 or 604-684-1128 to make
reservations directly with the hotel. Reference the NAI 2007 Interpreting World
Heritage Conference. You must call the hotel by March 2, 2007, to get the conference
rate of $135 Canadian (costs for those from the U.S. and other countries will
vary according to the daily exchange rate). Group rates will be honored from
March 22 through April 1, 2007.
Getting
There
Vancouver enjoys a major international airport that hosts
all major airlines. Transportation from the Vancouver
International Airport (YVR) to the Marriott can be found
by taxi (approximately $25 one way); airporter bus (approximately
$10 one way or $16 round trip) or by rental car. There
is no hotel shuttle provided.
Getting Around
U.S. drivers licenses are valid in Canada. For those
outside the U.S. or Canada, an international drivers
license obtained in a foreign country can be used in
Canada.

airport on the ground floor of the parkade. Companies

Passports
Beginning January 23, 2007, ALL persons, including U.S. citizens, traveling by air between the United States and Canada will be required to present a valid passport, Air NEXUS card, or U.S. Coast Guard Merchant Mariner Document, or an Alien Registration Card, Form I-551, if applicable.
