Regions and Sections
NAI's regions and sections help members network with others who work near them or who work with similar subject-matter content. Each region and section produce quarterly newsletters and organize their own activities. Additional region/section memberships can be purchased at $10 each U.S. Domestic, $20 each international, per year.

Designed for the front-line interpreter and interpretive manager.

Good Choice:
For only $20 more than the Basic, the Standard level offers the interpreter an incredible deal. We suggest you try to become a member at the Standard level because members find NAI's periodicals to be such invaluable resources.

The Commercial membership category meets the needs of businesses that seek formal affiliation with our membership. Our 5,000 NAI members reside in all 50 states, Canada, and 32 other foreign countries. Individual members vary from school and university educators, to front-line interpreters, to park managers (in addition to more than 350 Institutional and over 100 Commercial members).

Legacy is NAI’s premier periodical, and offers articles and columns related to current topics in interpretation. Published six times per year, each issue is packed with features, profiles of members, commentaries, and other items related to the role of interpretation in contemporary society.
The Interpreter offers a forum for professionals in the field to exchange ideas and information. Published six times a year, it feature stories, columns, and commentaries dealing with practical issues relevant to front-line interpreters, planners, and managers.
The Journal of Interpretation Research communicates original empirical research dealing with interpretation and provides a forum for scholarly discourse about issues facing the profession of interpretation.
InterpNews is a quarterly newsletter that keeps members up-to-date with the latest news from the interpretive profession.
