Membership at the end of December was 4770 with 198 new members and 282 renewals. Regions and sections for the most part increased this month. The workshop usually helps that.

Most of December the membership department focused on renewals of Institutional and Commercial memberships. This did help boost membership dollars for the month but it also gave us a chance to talk to many of our most supportive members as we called to remind them that their membership was expired.

We will focus on large promotional mailings early in the year. The first that will go out will be the annual postcard mailing to remind members and non-members that the 2005 membership directory will be coming out soon.

The next bi-monthly phone call is March 1st and it will focus on elections.
