Director Lisa Brochu June 2006 Certification Tim and I taught a CIP class for Cleveland Metroparks which was received very well. Cleveland MP will be sending two employees to our July CIT class in Fort Collins, with the intention of incorporating certification training at all levels of their operation. A survey will be going out to all certified individuals in the professional categories in July to help determine what adjustments could be made to the program, including updating the certification library. International We were unable to successfully negotiate cosponsorship of IWH 2007 with Interpretation Canada, so they will not be listed as a cosponsor. Please feel free to contact me if you want additional information on this. Instead of IC’s involvement, we have partnered with Region 10 to provide logistical support for off-site sessions. The deadline for IWH 07 papers is June 15 – it appears we will have more papers than we have time to present. We have three keynote speakers lined up with potential for a fourth. Information about these speakers will be posted on the website very soon as will the registration information, by July 1. A process for handling requests for international activities was voted into policy by the board at the recent board meeting and can be viewed on the board resources page.
