• Contracted with transportation company for NIW off-site sessions, preworkshops and special events • Made travel plans for NIW ’11 site visit in July • Contacted those who had expressed an interest in exhibit booths at NIW • Contacted exhibitors to confirm meal package choices
Certification Planning/Logistics.
• Completed logistics planning for three certification workshops
• Booked meeting space and hotel for CIP for 2007 (Florence, OR) and worked with Russ to get posted it online
• Booked block of rooms; made arrangements for catering and dinner for spring board meeting
• Kept looking for a site for the September CIP in CA
Training Room.
• Met with NPS reps re: 3-day rental in August; wrote contract
• Training Room Use:
o RMBO
o NAI Staff Meetings
• Set room for various meetings
Ad Sales.
• Contacted those with expiring ad contracts and wrote new ad contracts
• Contacted advertisers with banner ads to ask for new ads according to specs for new NAI web site
Legacy Sales.
• Contacted expired commercial members about subscriptions if they did not want to renew their membership
Commercial Members.
• Sent membership renewal letters
• Contacted prospective members with ad packets and followed up on ad packets sent in past two weeks
Library & Archives.
• Received 6 boxes of books, archival materials, and files from Howdy Weaver and made a list of publications for his tax records
Media Awards.
• Worked in new format for judging forms and input names of entries
• Sorted and send media award entries to judges
Other Things.
• Initiated or participated in conference calls for:
o Vis Com
o NIW ‘06
• Posted job opening for fall/spring student worker and interviewed 4 work-study eligible students for the position
