STAFF REPORT
Membership Manager
Jamie King

October 2006

Membership at the end of September was 4586 with 214 new members and 205 renewals.

NIW is right around the corner and we are keeping busy with registration. This year’s registration numbers are the highest in the past three years, so this should prove to be a very good workshop.

We have also been working on calling expired members, we have called all members whose expiration date has passed this year. Our next round of calls will be to individuals who gained membership through the certification program. It has come to our attention that these members are the hardest to retain, as most don’t understand the difference between certification and membership. One suggestion has been to offer a four year membership option with certification classes. This would give the individual taking the certification class the same expiration date for both categories.
See you in Albuquerque!

Sincerely,
Jamie
