Contacted decorators about bids for exhibit hall at Century II

Selected Henry Helgerson Company as decorator and received Expo
Hall layout for 120 booths from him
•
Developed list of checks to be written, deposits, and payments
due for off-sites, special events, keynotes, musicians, IMI instructors,
etc.

Sent second draft of general session agenda to committee, Evie,
John Miller, Alan Leftridge, Russ Dickerson, Paul Caputo and others
for review
•
Developed preworkshop new accounting sheet for presenters to facilitate
ease of payment after the event
•
Confirmed itineraries for off-site sessions; secured “bus
hosts” for each special event and off-site session
•
Confirmed F&B requirements with Aramark
•
Replenished room monitor boxes
•
Sent RFP for AV for NIW 06—got two bids back
•
Confirmed food left over from meals to go to Salvation Army drug
and alcohol rehab program

Function sheets sent to convention center contact

Library & Archives.

Looked for names of WIA board members and missing AIN board members
in old files and publications

Trained student worker in the first steps in organizing books and
other publications that have been donated to the library since
spring
Media Awards.

Worked with judging coordinator to make sure all rating forms had
been received from judges
•
Sent letters of congratulations to winners and sorry letters to
other entrants
•
Sent list of winners to media awards committee person in charge
of ordering award plaques
