NIW.
• Cross-checked booth numbers/invoices/submissions against map and list and sent contact information, booth numbers and firm names to decorator for NIW
• Sent confirmations and exhibitor packets to exhibitors for NIW 06
• Called exhibitors from previous years to see if they wanted to exhibit
• Faxed commercial members not registered for NIW re: booth space promo piece
• Contacted decorators about bids for exhibit hall at Century II Convention Center, Wichita, 2007
• Selected Henry Helgerson Company as decorator and received Expo Hall layout for 120 booths from him
• Developed list of checks to be written, deposits, and payments due for off-sites, special events, keynotes, musicians, IMI instructors, etc.
• Sent second draft of general session agenda to committee, Evie, John Miller, Alan Leftridge, Russ Dickerson, Paul Caputo and others for review
• Developed preworkshop new accounting sheet for presenters to facilitate ease of payment after the event
• Confirmed itineraries for off-site sessions; secured “bus hosts” for each special event and off-site session
• Confirmed F&B requirements with Aramark
• Replenished room monitor boxes
• Sent RFP for AV for NIW 06—got two bids back
• Confirmed food left over from meals to go to Salvation Army drug and alcohol rehab program
• Function sheets sent to convention center contact
• Called Hyatt to get comp parking space for NAI vans during the NIW
• Ordered auction intake forms (duplicate)

Certification Planning/Logistics.
• Contacted NCTC and Tucson location for potential spring certification trainings
• Researched other Tucson locations (Tanque Verde, too expensive)
• Confirmed participant list and payment with Museo de Les Tres Colonias CIP in September
• Made list for Carrie and Sam to do for CIP on September 18-22
• Shopped and did room set-up for CIP on September 18-22

Other Meeting Planning/Logistics.
• Attended FAM trip to Pittsburgh, PA
• Assisted National Park Service staff with Science and The Media: Communicating Natural Resource Issues to the Press, which was held in NAI training room, August 29-31

Training Room.
• Training Room Use:
  o RMBO –4 times
  o NPCA –2 times
  o NAI Staff Meetings 4 times
  o CHI Training (5 days)
  o NPS Science and the Media Workshop (3 days)
• Set room for various meetings

Ad Sales.
• Contacted those with expiring ad contracts to see if they want to renew
• Wrote special fax bulletin for commercial members to reserve a booth at NIW
• Wrote letters and sent hard copy of ad contracts for those with expiring ad contracts with S/O Legacy and The Interpreter and N/D Legacy.
• Made travel arrangements for APPL (Sacramento, March, 2007)

Legacy Sales.
• Contacted expired commercial members about subscriptions if they did not want to renew their membership

Commercial Members.
• Sent membership renewal letters and emails
• Contacted prospective members with ad packets and followed up on ad packets sent in past two weeks
• Sent new member packets to new commercial members and contacted them to welcome them to NAI

Library & Archives.
• Looked for names of WIA board members and missing AIN board members in old files and publications
• Trained student worker in the first steps in organizing books and other publications that have been donated to the library since spring

Media Awards.
• Worked with judging coordinator to make sure all rating forms had been received from judges
• Sent letters of congratulations to winners and sorry letters to other entrants
• Sent list of winners to media awards committee person in charge of ordering award plaques

Other Things.
• Initiated or participated in conference calls for:
