Publications
Greetings
from the art and publications office.
New Hire
Russ Dickerson joined the NAI
staff in early September as IT/AV technician. In addition to
the database and computer expertise the position requires, Russ
brings an artistic sensibility that will certainly benefit our
web site and publications.
Legacy
Themes have been established through the May/June
2006 issue and are
as
follow:
• November/December
2005: Interpretation and the Experience Economy (Showcasing well-designed
interpretive experiences)
• January/February
2006: Interpreting Slavery
• March/April
2006: Interpretive Road Trip (Scenic Byways)
• May/June 2006: Non-Traditional Interpretation in Non-Traditional Settings by
Non-Traditional Providers (i.e., airports, city sidewalks, etc.)
The Interpreter
The September/October issue mailed early this month.
InterpNews
The fall issue is at the printer and is scheduled to mail
later this month.
Journal of Interpretation Research
I plan to produce the second 2005 issue in the fall.
NIW Materials
I am deep in the production process on the Sourcebook
and the program guide. They go to press in early October.
I will produce the Federal Agency Award brochures and the multimedia presentations
for the professional and media awards in October.
Ephemera
The
2004
annual
report has been distributed and is being well-received.
Schedule

upcoming schedule is available at www.interpnet.com/board/schedule.htm.
