| Preworkshop Training Sessions and IMI |
Interpretive Management Institute
Designed to meet the needs of busy managers of interpretive sites, the IMI will address a specific topic area each year, giving participants an opportunity to share common challenges and solutions with each other and our profession’s noted experts.
Preworkshop Sessions
Preworkshop Sessions take place November 10 & 11, 2008, prior to the National Workshop, and are a great way to start your week at the National Workshop. Preworkshop sessions are one or two-day, topic-based workshops designed for those who would like in-depth training in subjects related to interpretation. There is a fee above regular workshop registration to cover the cost of these optional preworkshop sessions. |

Branding: The New Buzzword
This year, IMI will focus on branding. Powerful brands can drive success in competitive markets, and indeed become one of an organization’s most valuable assets. This year’s IMI will explore four major aspects of branding with an overall course goal to thread each type into a holistic, successful process and leave participants with the tools for successfully branding their organization or their programs
