Even if your or your site won't be at the conference, you can still participate in this conference in a very special way by making a donation to NAI’s always exciting and fun Auction. The Auction is a great opportunity for interpretive sites to show support for the overall interpretive community while showcasing their unique site and mission.
Here are some of the types of items that have been popular in the past:
• interpretive experiences or “getaway” packages
• holiday gifts, jewelry
• artwork, curiosities, collector’s items
• toys (stuffed animals, games, science toys, puzzles, etc.)
• logo items (sweatshirts, T-shirts, caps, tote bags, water bottles)
• interpretive materials, books
To make a donation, just fill out a donation form and send it in as soon as possible so that our hard-working auction committee will have an opportunity to get some of the work done ahead of time to assure a successful auction. You may bring the item to the conference or ship it to the NAI office – instructions are on the form. We want to make it easy for you! Any questions, contact 2019 Auction chair Erin Gates at firstname.lastname@example.org or NAI ED Margo Carlock at email@example.com.
Thanks for helping to support professional development for interpreters!
