Now Hiring: Office Administrative Assistant

The Office Administrative Assistant is responsible for customer service, shipping and handling of association products/goods, data entry, and general office support. Our ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a strong work ethic. This is an important position for our growing organization. You will be the voice of cheerful customer service to our members, be a problem solver and team player to the small (but mighty!) in-office and remote staff!

I. SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

  • A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
  • Two years of work experience preferred
  • Typing skills at the 40+ wpm level
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace preferred
  • Excellent oral and written communication and customer service skills.
  • Desire to learn new skills and accept new responsibilities as required.
  • Strong prioritization and time management skills.
  • Must be able to lift 40+ lbs (shipping and receiving)

II.  RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide customer service by phone and email
  • Data entry
  • Support the Executive Director with building management
  • Oversee shipping and receiving
  • Process payments 
  • Support key staff with marketing mailings (email and postal mail)
  • Process certification materials (returns from instructors; courses taught by NAI instructors)
  • Drop off mail at post office
  • Help with supervision of work-study students as directed
  • Other duties as assigned

III. SALARY & BENEFITS

Starting hourly rate will be $16–$20/hour, based upon experience and educational background. This position will start as part time (25 hours per week), with the possibility of converting to full time.

IV. LOCATION

The Office Administrative Assistant is expected to work in NAI’s office in Fort Collins, Colorado. We are unable to provide relocation reimbursement for this position at this time.
