Legacy en espanol

Fort Collins, CO The National Association for Interpretation ( is pleased to announce its new publication, Legacy en español a member magazine written exclusively in Spanish for US based and international interpreters working in conservation, cultural, historical, and natural settings.
The first issue expected in the spring of 2023 is not a mirror copy in translation of NAI s flagship publication, Legacy rather it contains new and original content by authors from across the Spanish speaking world. Articles from Argentina, Colombia, Costa Rica, Mexico, Spain, and the United States are currently under peer review.
Legacy en español initially will be available in print and digital copies. Subsequent issues will be released digitally in order to conform to NAI s sustainability initiatives, reducing its carbon footprint and preserving natural resources. The editorial board consisting of professors, NAI Certified Interpretive Guides, and other industry professionals will set the themes for the biannual publication.
Serving Spanish language professionals in the field of heritage interpretation is integral to NAI’s mission and core values, said NAI Executive Director Paul Caputo. “The USA has the second largest Spanish speaking population in the world more than an eighth of the US population speaks Spanish at home and it’s essential that the benefits of this amazing field are available to everyone.”
