COVID-19 Protocols

Proof of Vaccination or Negative Test Required

The health and safety of our members and conference attendees is our priority. Following recent trends in the event planning industry to minimize risk and maximize participant well-being, NAI has decided to require proof of full COVID-19 vaccination OR a negative COVID-19 PCR or antigen test (no more than three days prior to the start of the conference) for all attendees.

Vaccination

Proof of vaccination can be presented as a physical vaccination card or a photo of your card with your name and the date(s) of vaccination from a reputable clinic or professional medical office. For Moderna and Pfizer vaccines, both vaccination shots are required to be considered fully vaccinated.

Fully vaccinated participants can reduce registration check-in time by sending a photo of their vaccination card/proof of vaccination to JFleury@interpnet.com before October 31. NAI won't keep the image on file, we will log the date of your final shot and mark your badge for a speedy check-in process when you arrive onsite.

Negative Test

If you choose to show proof of negative COVID-19 PCR or antigen test, a physical copy or photo is also required with your name and date of test from a reputable clinic or professional medical office. Date of test must be no more than three days prior to the start of NAI 2021, which would be Saturday, November 27, 2021.

For those requiring a test, many airports have rapid COVID-19 testing in their terminals, and the Palm Springs airport (PSP) has a drive-through rapid COVID-19 testing facility on site. The closest COVID-19 testing is a four-minute drive or 18-minute walk from the host hotel to a nearby Walgreens

Masks

At this time, masks are not required for gatherings in the city of Rancho Mirage, California. As such, we are not requiring masks for attendees with proof of vaccination or negative COVID-19 tests results. This is subject to change with short notice.

We expect all of our attendees to consider the health and well-being of fellow attendees and adhere to this policy, practice good judgement, follow CDC guidelines, and comply with all other rules, regulations, and guidelines when traveling to the National Conference. If you are sharing a room with another person whom you do not regularly work in close physical proximity with, we strongly recommend getting a COVID-19 test prior to hotel check in.

If you choose to not participate in NAI 2021 due to this new policy, we are happy to transfer your registration over to the online conference, or provide you with a full refund. Contact jking@interpnet.com before October 1, 2021, with your refund request.

Thank you to our NAI 2021 sponsors
