Volunteer at NAI 2021

Message from Volunteer Chair Simone Mortan
Volunteering is a great way to meet amazing NAI people and to save a bit of money. If you will be attending the National Conference onsite in Palm Springs you can get a $200 discount off your registration if you agree to volunteer for at least 8 hours. If you are planning to attend the online workshop you can get a $60 discount if you volunteer for at least 6 hours.

Onsite we will have a variety of opportunities for volunteering. You can help with registration, our onsite “yard sale” which will replace the silent auction, concurrent session room monitors, assist with getting people on buses for the field trips, help with the 5K fun run and other assorted opportunities.  

Online we will need volunteers who are competent and confident in hosting Zoom meetings. You will need to be able to manage break-out groups, make presenters co-hosts, be able to share your screen and trouble shoot if participants have trouble getting into break-out rooms.  You will need a strong reliable internet connection and a space where you can manage an hour-long meeting without interruptions.

If you would like to volunteer for less time we cannot offer you the registration discount but you will have our undying gratitude for your help!
