Visual Story Telling: Intro to Photography for Interpreters

10:00a Pacific/1:00p Eastern (60 MINUTES)
Nathan Taxel

This webinar will earn 1 CE credit towards NAI recertification.

This workshop will focus on introductory photography techniques which can be used to make captivating digital images regardless of the type of camera used. With an eye on equity this session will intentionally avoid discussion of methods which require specialized equipment or software and instead focus on using cell phones and other entry level photography tools to make stories come alive.

Nathan Taxel is an interpreter for OC Parks in Orange County California, an Associate Faculty member in the Environmental Studies Department at Saddleback College, a Certified Interpretive Trainer, and a Certified Interpretive Guide.  He earned his Master’s in Parks and Natural Resource Management from Slippery Rock University and is an avid amateur photographer.
