Can we Talk? Effective Climate Conversations
10:00a Pacific/1:00p Eastern (60 MINUTES)
This webinar will earn 1 CE credit towards NAI recertifications.
Climate change affects us all—so why don’t we talk about it? These conversations don’t have to be scary! Learn proven techniques for framing climate change in terms that lead to solutions-based thinking and engage broad and diverse audiences.
Laura Drath is an Interpretive Services Supervisor with the California Department of Fish and Wildlife in Sacramento. A graduate of the 2016 National Network for Ocean and Climate Change Interpretation (NNOCCI), she works to encourage productive, solutions-focused climate conversations wherever she goes.
Retired/Senior/Volunteer/Student: $25 (must be member at one of these levels to receive discount)
For NAI Institutional and Commercial members wishing to purchase attendance for multiple staff members: the first registrant will pay normal pricing and each additional registrant will run $20. Anyone wishing to gain Certification renewal hours from the webinar will have to login to the webinar on their own computer. This allows us to verify that they were in attendance and credit the hours to their account. To register multiple employees, register your first employee then contact

In order to hear the presentation, you will need to use your computer speakers or a headset (such as earbuds that came with your cell phone) to stream the audio through your computer. If you would like to participate in Q&A with the presenter, we recommend using a microphone.
