Emerging Methods for the Modern Interpreter
How Can Inquiry Move Visitors from Users to Stewards?
10:00a Pacific/1:00p Eastern (90 MINUTES)
Mary McCormac, Jennifer Anderson and Bevin Carithers
This webinar will earn 1.5 CE credits towards NAI recertifications.
Interpretation in the age of COVID has meant fewer opportunities for traditional programming, while many parks and historic sites are seeing record visitation numbers. Through a re-imagination of inquiry-based methods and group brainstorming we will explore ways to foster visitor connections and create positive stewardship actions through self-guided discovery.
Jennifer Anderson is the Education, Partnership, and Volunteer Section Manager for Colorado Parks and Wildlife, Bevin Carithers is the Chief Park Ranger with Boulder County Parks and Open Space, and Mary McCormac is the Statewide Interpretation and Wildlife Viewing Coordinator for Colorado Parks and Wildlife.
