Funding Opportunities For Interpretive Organizations
Funding Opportunities for Interpretive Organizations from the Institute of Museum and Library Services
September 7, 2022
1pm Pacific/ 2pm Mountain/ 3pm Central/ 4pm Eastern
Zoom
Are you looking for an opportunity to make transformative change at your organization but don't know how to fund your strategic plan or equity program? This webinar will provide participants with an overview of funding opportunities offered by the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS) with a special emphasis on those that support justice, equity, diversity, accessibility, and inclusion efforts at interpretive sites. As the nation’s primary source of federal funding for museums, IMLS administers six grant opportunities and two assessment programs that are available to nature centers, museums, zoos, science centers, botanical gardens, historical sites, and other interpretive organizations. Sites run by State and local governments as well as non-profit and professional organizations can apply. A representative from IMLS will share detailed information about each program and tips for preparing a more competitive application for the next museum grant application deadline on November 15, 2022.
Please note that though registration is free, you will still need to proceed to the checkout page and submit your shopping cart (if there is nothing else in your cart you will not be required to add payment details).
