Workshop Registration Fees

Registration and fees must be received by Tuesday, February 20, 2024. You will not be registered until payment is received at the NAI national office.

Full Registration (includes Thursday offsite) $275 $200
Single Day Registration (Wednesday, no dinner included) $110 $75
Single Day Registration w/Offsite Session (Wednesday, no dinner included) $130 $95

Full registration with confirmed attendance will receive 24 hours of continuing education credit for NAI recertification.

Field Trips

Participants must be registered for the full workshop or purchase a separate ticket to participate in field trips. Field trip includes lunch. All field trips carry a maximum capacity of 20 and will be filled on a first-reserved basis. Departs 10:00am and returns 3:00pm from workshop hotel.

Cancellation Policy

Refunds will be given until February 27, with a $25 cancellation fee. After that date, refunds will be given only by review of the community leadership. All refunds will be processed after the event. Contact Chris Smith at envedchris@gmail.com.

The non-member registration rate includes an NAI membership which is non-refundable and will be added to the cancellation fee.

Birmingham Botanical Gardens promotes a passion for plants, gardens, and the natural world. Each year, the Gardens welcomes more than 330,000 visitors from across the region and around the world, providing both a meaningful connection to nature and a vibrant source of plant, gardening, wellness, and environmental education.

The Birmingham Civil Rights Institute, part of the Birmingham Civil Rights National Monument and an affiliate of the Smithsonian Institution, is a cultural and educational research center that promotes a comprehensive understanding for the significance of civil rights developments in Birmingham. One of the state’s most popular attractions, the Birmingham Zoo, is an ever-evolving adventure. Guests come from around the Southeast to see animals such as red pandas, lions, giraffes, orangutans, rhinos, bears, elephants, sea lions, zebras, a jaguar, a hippo and many more. From Trails of Africa to the Children’s Zoo and everything in-between, the Birmingham Zoo features animals from all over the world, with signage highlighting the Zoo’s amazing animal care, conservation initiatives, and Species Survival Plans.
