2019 NAI Sierra Pacific Spring Workshop

With this year’s theme, Digging Deeper: Mining the Past for History’s Untold Stories, we encourage attendees to look beyond the usual stories and approaches, to dig for the “under-told” tales and fresh views of the sites, objects and concepts that you interpret.

For full details on the Workshop visit the Region 9 website.

Interested in sharing science and history with those who cannot access a visitor center or park? Now through the use of video and social media (internet) we can now do just that. PORTs allows for programs to be shared with students and others offsite while allowing them to connect the material and place farther away. OR use media in addition to hands on activities to reach students through a new avenue of learning. Come see the PORTS studio and observe a presentation live.
