Conventional interpretation focuses largely on what the interpreter says and does. Given that interpretation seeks transformation through experience, however, interpreters must consider all environmental factors that influence experience. This webinar visualizes a multi-dimensional space in which interpreters manage authenticity, biophilia, and other concepts to fashion more impactful visitor experience opportunities.

PUP Global Heritage Consortium coordinator Jon Kohl promotes emerging interpretation approaches and theories to improve heritage management. Jon is co-authoring a Spanish college textbook on interpretation, has written dozens of articles in Legacy, JIR, and elsewhere, and blogs: international heritage interpretation. See his interp CV.
