The Young Professionals Council (YPC) is a diverse group of leaders in Interpretation between the ages of 18 to 35. The YPC supports NAI's core values around justice, equity, diversity, access, and inclusion. The YPC also strives to engage a younger audience and increase diversity in order to address the reality that the United States’ growing, diverse population is underrepresented in many professional associations. The group works to address barriers to employment, create a more inclusive narrative of people in the interpretive profession, and contribute advice to NAI's Staff and National Board.
