Intermediate Methods in Interpretation Course

Have you received basic training in interpretation but are ready to learn more? Developed in partnership with the Eppley Institute for Parks and Public Lands, this online course consists of five modules that provide in-depth training on dialogic interpretation, accessibility and interpretation, social media and interpretation, interpretive writing, and design elements in interpretive media. Each module culminates with an applied assignment that you can relate to your organization. You can take this course on your own or with a cohort of your peers. Participants in the cohort course are paired with a learning guide who will provide support and mentorship on course assignments.

Participants who complete the course earn a certificate* and 40 hours of continuing education that can be applied towards an NAI professional certification. Interested in learning more?  Visit Indiana University's EXPAND continuing education website and/or contact NAI at [email protected].

*Please note that this is not a professional certification; it is a certificate that does not need to be renewed every four years. You will receive a certificate of completion and continuing education hours.
