2016 NAI National Conference

Online registration has closed. You can still register onsite at the Registration Desk starting Tuesday morning.

Please note that we will not be selling any offsite or special event tickets onsite. The Ticket Trader will open on Tuesday for you to purchase these tickets from other participants, this will be a cash only transaction.

Registration

Attendees must be 18 years of age or older to attend the pre-conference training and concurrent sessions. Family members may attend off-site sessions with a conference participant if they register and pay the session fee.

Pricing

Your registration fees will be determined by the membership on your account. If you have purchased a membership today, you will need to wait at least one business day for the membership rate to kick in.

Membership is not automatically included for nonmembers, but you will have the ability to apply the nonmember fee difference towards a membership during the registration process.

Life members will automatically receive Professional rates. If you have recently retired, please contact the NAI office and we can adjust your account for the discounted pricing.

Institutional members will need to register their first three attendees before contacting jking@interpnet.com to receive a discount code for your additional staff members.

* Institutional members who register three participants for the conference receive this rate for all subsequent registrations. 

Included in Registration

Full conference registration includes keynotes, the two Exhibitor Receptions, Excellence in Interpretation Awards, all concurrent sessions, a coffee break, one lunch, scholarship auction, and the awards banquet and dance. 

Attendees will have the exclusive opportunity to download the Interpretive Sourcebook: Proceedings from the 2016 NAI National Conference, made available to participants before the conference. One-day registration includes attendance at conference sessions and any meals/events provided on the day for which you are registered. 

Not included with registration are lodging, meals not listed above, pre-conference sessions, off-site sessions, and some Wednesday evening special events.

Preworkshop sessions

These one- or two-day, topic-based workshops are designed for those who would like in-depth training in subjects related to interpretation. There is a fee above regular workshop registration to cover the cost of these optional preworkshop sessions. Note: Preworkshops that do not make minimum numbers 30 days prior to the workshop will be cancelled.

Special Terms and Cancellation

  • Cancellations must be made in writing and emailed, postmarked, or faxed by October 10; a nonrefundable processing fee of $100 will be assessed. Emailed cancellations should be sent to registration@interpnet.com.
  • Cancellations cannot be made by phone.
  • Changes to off-site sessions can be made on this registration form until October 10, subject to availability.
    • Changes after October 17 will need to go through the Ticket Trader on site.
    • Note that Ticket Trader transactions are cash only.
  • Additional event or meal tickets are nonrefundable after October 10. No refunds for additional events or meal tickets will be given at the conference.
  • Purchase of additional tickets can be made on site, upon availability.
  • No refunds will be given after October 10.

Consent to Use

Registration and attendance at, or participation in, NAI conferences and other activities constitutes an agreement by the registrant to NAI's use and distribution of the registrant or attendee’s image or voice in photographs, videotapes, electronic reproductions and audiotapes of such events and activities.

Registrant gives NAI permission to use their emails for information purposes, to send updates on the conference and events and to give to the sponsors that support the conference. Any information obtained from attendees will not be shared or sold to any outside agency.

If you've already registered but want to add additional items, just come back to this page. You will be able to edit your additional events until about two weeks before events.

Wanting to add a second ticket for something you are already registered for? You will have to remove the first ticket and add 2 tickets (or however many you want) back on to your registration.
