Call for Volunteers

Help us Build Bridges in Arkansas this November!

We’re looking for volunteers for this year’s NAI conference! Meet other amazing NAI members and save a bit on conference registration.

What do conference volunteers do? We need people to help with registration, be a room monitor for one of our fascinating concurrent sessions, help herd cats (oops, conference attendees!) onto buses for field trips, make sure our 5K fun run participants go the right direction, help with the “yard sale,” and other tasks.

We have both in-person and online volunteer opportunities. And sometimes if you are in-person, you may be assigned to help with some segments of the online conference experience. For the online conference experience a solid WiFi connection is needed (if you are in-person we will have a room or you can host in your hotel room with hotel WiFi connection) for at least one hour at a time.

If you will be attending the National Conference in Little Rock you can get a $200 discount off your registration if you agree to volunteer for at least 8 hours. Or online with a $60 discount for 6 hours of volunteering.

If you’re interested, please complete the online application form. We will give first preference to those who are able to volunteer for the 8 hour commitment in-person, 6 hours if online, and also first-time national conference goers. You’re also welcome to volunteer for less time—no registration discount, but we’d be eternally grateful for your help!

Volunteers must be a NAI member to receive the volunteer discounted registration benefit.

Volunteer applications will close August 1. Please, do NOT register if you are applying to volunteer until you receive confirmation that the volunteer rate has been added to your account. All confirmations will be sent via email. Confirmations will be emailed by mid-August.
