profession of interpretation. NAI members are exposed to outstanding
and inspiring programs and professionals. Please nominate someone you

Interpretive Media Award Competition
Interpretive Media Awards Competition promotes excellence in the
delivery of natural, cultural, and historical nonpersonal interpretive
services. Through the exchange of ideas we increase the level of
excellence in our profession.

NAI Shining Star Award
Recognize an Interpretive Star! Have you witnessed a fellow interpreter going above and beyond the call of duty? We are looking to recognize NAI members with these qualities on a monthly basis. The NAI Shining Star Award is meant to highlight the amazing interpretive work being done by members, like you, all across NAI. This award is will highlight winners' efforts to the NAI interpretive community as well as the winners' supervisors and coworkers.
To nominate someone for the NAI Shining Star Award email NAI Membership Manager Jamie King at firstname.lastname@example.org with the following information:
- Contact information of the nominee (Name, title, site, work address, work email, and work phone)
- Example(s) of how the nominee went above and beyond their routine duties.
- Example(s) of how the nominee's action made a positive impact on visitors, resources, or NAI.
These awards are independent of the NAI Professional Awards. Winners will be entered into a drawing for free registration to the NAI National Conference.
Award of Distinction
This award recognizes the efforts of NAI members who have distinctly or significantly furthered the mission and vision of NAI or the profession of interpretation. Learn more here.
