Create Multilevels within your Volunteer Core

This webinar will earn 1.5 CE credits towards NAI recertifications.
Volunteer trainers with over 70 years of combined experience will show you how to create ladders of opportunities, increase your capacity and vitalize your volunteer programs within the lens of Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs within your programs.
Simone Mortan, CIT worked at the Monterey Bay Aquarium for over 24 years. For the last 14 years she was the manager of the volunteer guide program. She has a long history in the field of interpretation and storytelling.
Jane Silberstein, CIT, (M.S.) was senior interpreter at Monterey Bay Aquarium for over 30 years until Covid19. Teaching CIT course embedded in Environmental Interpretation and Outreach at CSUMB. Love teaching marine science, interpretation and social justice to anyone who will participate.
Pamela E. Byrnes – Currently the Volunteer Training Supervisor, Monterey Bay Aquarium (15 years at MBA providing interpretive training to volunteer guides and trainers.). Twenty years as Marine Biologist/Interpreter for Oceanic Society, O.S Expeditions, Earth Watch, Reef Promotions. Led natural history and research trips to Mexico, Australia, California and Bahamas.
Retired/Senior/Volunteer/Student: $30 (must be member at one of these levels to receive discount)
For NAI Institutional and Commercial members wishing to purchase attendance for multiple staff members: the first registrant will pay normal pricing and each additional registrant will run $25. Anyone wishing to gain Certification renewal hours from the webinar will have to login to the webinar on their own computer.
