The Certified Interpretive Guide (CIG) curriculum is often taught indoors and to adult audiences. Learn how to adapt the curriculum for outdoor settings and teenage audiences through a hands-on approach that cultivates a strong sense of place. These strategies are effective tools for student mentorship and CIG courses.

Sarah Rhodes-Ondi, M.S., has been a Naturalist at the Environmental Learning Center since 2006 and a passionate advocate for conservation of coastal resources since her youth. She has a Bachelors of Arts and a Masters of Science in Marine Biology and loves connecting people with nature through science and environmental education.
