Teenagers often have low turnout at our interpretive sites. This webinar will offer insights into how to promote your events to teenagers through social media platforms such as Facebook and Instagram. Additionally, we will share how to use these platforms and other applications during programming to keep teens wanting more!

Becca Franzen is an Assistant Professor at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and has received grants to purchase and utilize iPads in her courses.

Emma Phifer is the Graduate Assistant for Schmeeckle Reserve at UWSP where she is pursugin a MS in Environmental Education and Interpretation. Her thesis research is titled Formative Evaluation of Heritage Interpretation Careeer Recruitment Media Targeting Adolescents.

Emma Adams is a Undergraduate at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, studying Environmental Education and Interpretation. This fall she will start her senior year and is looking forward to starting her career.

Anyone wishing to gain Certification renewal hours from the webinar will have to login to the webinar on their own computer. This allows us to verify that they were in attendance and credit the hours to their account. 

Login information for this webinar will be sent the day before the webinar takes place. 

In order to hear the presentation, you will need to use a headset and stream the audio through the computer.
