One of your staff calls in sick, a bus shows up unannounced, are you ready to lead a hike at any time? The guided hike is a staple in an interpreter’s tool box. Are we creating memories with each hike we give and leave them inspired and wanting more? During this session, we will share and learn the techniques, tips and success stories of a guided hikes, that will help you connect your visitors to your resource, whether planned or on a moment’s notice.

Jay Schneider is the Assistant Superintendent of Hobbs State Park- Conservation Area in Rogers, Arkansas. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Kansas State and a Masters in interpretation from Stephen F. Austin State University. He has worked as seasonal and full-time interpreter in Arkansas and elsewhere since 1999.

Nonmember: $50

For NAI Institutional and Commercial members wishing to purchase attendance for multiple staff members: the first registrant will pay normal pricing and each additional registrant will run $20. Anyone wishing to gain Certification renewal hours from the webinar will have to login to the webinar on their own computer.
